Worship at Friends

Alive People Worship Jesus

What to Expect

We gather each Sunday through worship, prayer, and Bible-based teaching, with a mix of familiar songs and new ones.

Children and youth are welcome to worship with their families or participate in programs designed specifically for them. At our North Olmsted campus, we also offer a sensory room for elementary-age children with special needs, as well as nursery and preschool care.
Both campuses have on-site parking, including designated accessible spaces. Our hospitality volunteers are ready to welcome you, help you find your way, and answer any questions you may have.

Come as you are; there’s no dress code at Friends. You’ll find people dressed in all kinds of ways as we gather to worship God together.

Before or after services, stop by Friends Café at either campus for food, fellowship, and a chance to get to know others in our church family.

Serve in Worship

If you have gifts with music, technology or hospitality, we'd love to talk about how you could serve in worship!

Share your musical talents in worship as part of a team of musicians dedicated to lifting up Jesus. Our worship teams are not focused on performing, but on leading the congregation in offering praise to God. Opportunities at both campuses include vocal leads and instrumental musicians. For more information, contact the Church Office.
Support the worship experience by working on our audio/visual teams. Operate the sound board, run live stream cameras or help to coordinate the lighting and slides. Training is provided! For more information, contact Toby Locher.
Adult and children's choirs share in special services as well as on Sunday mornings, usually around Easter and Christmas. Whether you have prior choral experience or not, there's a place for you! For more information, contact Judy Crandall.
If you enjoy meeting new people and making sure everyone feels welcome, you can serve on our First Impressions Team. There are opportunities to serve as greeters or ushers, in Friends Café, at the Welcome Desk, or on our safety team. For more information, contact Kim Klima, our Volunteer Coordinator.
