UNLIKELY CANDIDATES (SEPTEMBER)
CONFERENCE ROOM // Pastor Adam Falkenstein
‘Sorry, God, you’ve got the wrong person. I can’t do that.’ We often look at our lives – our upbringing, education (or lack thereof), our fears, flaws, and insecurities – and decide God can’t possibly use us to impact the world. But in this inspiring four-part series, Koketso Molaolwe reminds us that where we see insignificance, God sees potential. What we dismiss as too ordinary, God calls the perfect place to reveal His extraordinary power.

PRACTICING THE WAY: SCRIPTURE (OCTOBER)
CONFERENCE ROOM // Gary Craun
The library we call “the Bible” can connect us to God and change who we are, but distraction, hurry, and confusion can hinder our experience with these ancient texts. Rediscover how to engage Scripture as an apprentice to Jesus.

Join us for this 4-week, in-depth study of the ways in which Jesus incorporated Scripture into His daily life, and how we might do the same.
AGING FAITHFULLY (NOVEMBER)
CONFERENCE ROOM // Gary Craun
As we age, we experience the loss of physical stamina, independence, and career fulfillment. Yet within each of these losses is a holy invitation to grow. God calls us to let go of our need for accomplishment and embrace the gift of fruitfulness so that we might be transformed in this final season of our lives.

We are invited to hold both grief and hope, to acknowledge ways of thinking that no longer represent who we are, and to receive peace in the midst of our fears.

We all age differently, and God calls each of us to new spiritual birth as we mature and deepen our faith. When we embrace the aging process, we grow closer to God and experience his grace as he renews us from within through his Holy Spirit. Whether you are approaching the beginning, middle, or end of your senior years, you are invited. Come and be transformed.

Based on the book, "Aging Faithfully: The Holy Invitation of Growing Older" by Alice Fryling.

11 AM

SERMON DISCUSSION GROUP
CONFERENCE ROOM // Mark Brewster
Discuss the sermon using relevant questions provided by the day’s preaching pastor.
PRACTICING THE WAY: BASE COURSE (OCT-NOV)
CONFERENCE ROOM // Pastor Adam Falkenstein
The Practicing the Way Course is the ideal starting place for those seeking to model their lives after Jesus Christ. It is designed to help get you started on the journey of spiritual formation, help you get unstuck if you’ve stalled out, or just guide you into taking your next step. Ultimately, its goal is to train you to live as an apprentice of Jesus: to be with Jesus, become like him, and do as he did.
