GROWING PEOPLE CHANGE WITHIN
The Holy Spirit wants to work in every one of us to make us more and more like Jesus—knowing him better, loving God and our neighbors and making disciples. And this doesn’t happen in isolation. At Friends Church, we believe we grow best when we’re in community with one another.
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
-Jesus, John 10:10

WHAT IF JESUS WAS SERIOUS ABOUT HEAVEN?
CONFERENCE ROOM // GINA GLAZER
Over the course of 12 weeks, we will re-examine Jesus' teachings on the Kingdom of Heaven, challenging ourselves to undo what we often misunderstand in light of what Jesus actually said about it. We will see that it's not just a celestial home but a way of life characterized by God's love, justice, and peace. We will explore how Jesus' parables reveal the nature of the Kingdom of Heaven and how we can participate in it, leading us to live in a way that reflects the values of God's Kingdom.
Based on the book by Skye Jethani.
Cost for book materials: $12
